What’s new
Hi everybody and welcome to my Summer Newsletter there are some new things going on first of all if you haven’t been to my website lately you need to check it out it is totally new for those of you who can’t find the address it’s www.maryspetsitting.com there is now a live chat and an e-mail list you can sign up for to keep in touch with new changes, ask questions or just tell stories and get to know other pet owners. So let me know what you think so far since I am still making changes and adding new things I am also still adding in new pictures so if you don’t see your kids just be patient it has taken longer than I thought to get this done and I have had to redo some pages because they didn’t work right. Another new thing I have added is a calendar page and I will be adding times when I might not be fully available or am going to take a vacation or just things I think you might be interested in and on that note I will be taking a vacation this year in September I am going to St. Louis for the Pet Sitters International Pet Sitting Convention September 27-29 so I won’t be available from the 26th-30th I am also getting re-certified in pet first aid at the convention so I am going to benefit you and your kids as much as myself this is the first convention I have been to since 1999 which was also my last vacation.
Summer is here
With the kids out of school or almost out of school it is time for summer vacations the 4th of July is the next big holiday so don’t forget your pets in your plans this year and also make sure to keep them safe with all the fireworks that will be going off soon most dogs and cats are afraid of them and hundreds of pets are lost each year because precautions are not taken so please make sure your pets are in a secure area during those times. Also don’t forget to make plans for your pets on your vacation you need to make your reservations as far in advance as possible whether it’s boarding or in-home I need at least 3 days to 1 weeks notice to make sure I have room.
